Using the internet to find out about some1

I am trying to track down the guy my gal has been seeing behind my back... now... she has not admitted it but im 99.9% sure she did. She gave me small details like what he did (work) his age and his 1st name and the town where he lives. Now im in the UK and I did a search on the electoral role on 192.com and got a list of all people in the town matching the name. Was wondering if any1 knew how I could find out from these names what they do or their date of birth to narrow down the list.

Like I said... is there anywhere on the net that searches information on UK people like the stuff I need.
