Using DECA for joint pain

LCBUTLER

New member
I know that deca is sometimes used for joint pain, I added deca to my cycle for that reason and it did not help me at all. Turns out I have tendonitis in my elbows and it is really not a "joint" problem.

Is it correct to assume that the problem must be bone related for deca to work?

Has anyone used deca to help them with tendonitis, and did it work?

I wish I would have diagnosed my problem earlier and saved the $ from the deca for next cycle.

oh well, lesson learned.

bro, it has not een working for me neither.! but i think it is because my winny dose has overpowered it(700mg/week) im only taking deca at 400mg/week.
what have you been taking otherwise and what dose.?

I am on the last week of my cycle it was

dbol wks 1-5 30mgs/day
Sust wks 1-10 1g/week
EQ wks 1-12 400mg/week

I added the deca at week 3 at
300mg/week, and stopped it at week 9 after it did nothing, but I don't think it can help with a problem like tendonitis....I am resting my arms now and going to physical therapy 2x per week. It sucks not being able to train arms at the end of my cycle but I want to be able to train them during my next one. I did not want to risk rupturing a tendon or something. It has been a little over a week since I have even lifted with my arms and they still hurt, so I think this is going to take a while, but I will be better in the long run for letting them heal 100%.

I used it to heal shoulder after a dislocation. I used Deca alone at 200mg weekly (more in 1st week). Helped a ton - I went from 55%-90+% in 3 weeks. My workout focused heavily on rehabilitating the shoulder and general full body work that my shoulder injury could allow (no pull downs or overheads!!).

Your problems may be related to both overuse and rapid strength gain from roids. Tendons don't get strong as quickly as the muscles when on steroids (some studies indicate steroids are tendon degenerative - mice and no weight training). I can't confirm whether the degeneration is true but guys on mega cycles that gain a ton of strength a very prone to these problems. Too strong too fast.

It tends to intensify when you come off as, believe it or not, a lot of the steroids lessen joint/tendon pain to a small degree (not winstrol) and when disconitnued in a high cortisol environment - ouch.

LC want to the dr. yesterday ...... got the same thing told me to get one of those velcro straps that go around your forearm and take 300mg of ibuprofin 3 times a day. did you try that ??

Yes I tried that, but I hate those f'in straps and it got to the point where I was taking way too much Ibuprofen, bottom line for me is I am going to have to rest my arms, I have been working "around" this problem for over a year and am just going to have to lay off for a while.

I am glad it worked for you!! You are right about the overuse...this has been going on for over a year, but I just could not miss a workout....I am paying for it now, but all will be better soon.

cure

ive recently had a bicep tendon tear and tendentious and had a cortisone injection and it hurt like hell for two days but was feeling great after that a FUCKING MIRACLE:D

my experience, i would stay away from cortisone shots, it hides the porblem. l;us its catabolic for the legiments... i used deca for shoulder recovery (a/c joint injury) it worked...

tell me more as i have onley had it about one month ago. Does this mean it will come back:confused:

I would take your Dr.'s advice on how long to rest your arms...this stuff is a bitch if you don't rest your arms, then you may have to change your training routine to compensate, like don't do the things that make it hurt.

Just be careful and above all...don't think it will just go away if you keep training. Take the time now. You will be better off if you do.
