Using Aromatase Inhibitors with Clomid / Nolvadex

The enzyme aromatase is responsible for the conversion of androstenedione to estrone and of testosterone to estradiol.

Nolvadex/Clomid can be classified as an estrogen antagonist.

So what effect should that have on 'us'.

Nolvadex & Clomid are both synthetic estrogens that bind to the estrogen receptor (er) and prevent real estrogen from binding and exerting any negative effects (antagonist).

People who use clomid / nolvadex during a cycle still have increased levels of estrogen, it is just with the use of clomid / nolvadex the estrogen cannot bind to the er.

This is good for those not wishing to suffer from increased estrogen levels while on a cycle. However once you stop the use of these estrogen antagonists your estrogen levels are still high and now these high levels can bind to the er where they can cause a number of unwanted side effects (female pattern fat distribution, gyno, water retention etc).

Rather than to let this happen by using an aromatase inhibitor we can get to the root of the problem and prevent high levels of estrogen from forming in the first place.

Arimidex is by far the best choice, then cytadren and proviron can also be used if the first is too expensive. Personally proviron is a good cheap alternative but seems not to work well for everyone. Cytadren can also be used but with this comes complications.

When running clomid post cycle its always advisable to run either arimidex or proviron along side it. This has also helped people stay a little harder and its claimed to help keep gains while also preventing a rebound effect from elevated estrogen levels had they not been used.

I would recommend people invest and research in arimidex/proviron as much as they invest / research in their actual cycle to save time headache and unwanted problems.

Why settle for nolvadex which only prevents problems while using it when you can prevent problems from being initiated in the first place.

Man this post helped me out alot, I thought nolvadex and clomid were a good combo to fight against gyno. but instead it just delays it! For my upcoming cycle I was actually going to run my liquidex all the way through my clomid therapy along with some proviron which is fairly cheap! What dosages would you recommend for the liquidex and proviron!

Nolvadex can delay gyno as can clomid and I know of some people who it has affected in this way. Nolvadex does have its place but I personally feel better with proviron or arimidex. I havent run arimidex too long but I can speak to death on proviron.

As for doses it is all dependant on what steroids you are using and at what doses as well as how sensitive you are to estrogen and the compunds being used. While some guys can run 1500mgs of test with no problems others start noticing problems with as little as 250mgs.

True true......, do you run proviron through out your entire cycle and at what doses? I want to hear your opinion on proviron as their are many mixed reviews over this compound!

Great IRON but comment this mine idea-
Running Arimidex+clomid is the best choice.
But runnin clomid along proviron(at the same time)could be not so fine because proviron send howerver an Androgen feedback to IPOFISI.
Proviron at low dose seems not to inhibit the LH production but seems to inhibit the testosterone production(No signal to do the LH--test trans..:Sorry for my word but I can't find them in English):this mean that there is a feedback to IPOFISI that there are some androgen in the system.
So IMO the stack/proviron+clomid could slow or avoid the work of clomid.

BTW I'm now on Arimidex+clomid(I have still 6days to go)and this stack is keeping me big and thick and no estrogen effects.I did the bridge from the last cycle day untill the first day in which I can start clomid therapy with PROVIRON @50mg/Ed+arimidex at 1mg eod.
All is really better than what I think!

...and I need more English lessons!!

Proviron & Nolva -- death to estrogen!

I've just started on Dbol for the first time, two pinks a day, along with sust. I'm taking Proviron and Nolvadex and it seems to work great. In fact, I had some nip puffiness from my last cycle that actually seems to have gone away since I started this new cycle.

BTW I can't believe how fast I gain weight on Dbol -- I know it's mostly water, but even so, it's amazing. No wonder this stuff rocked the bbing world in the 60s and 70s.

They say Arimadex or Liquidex is the ultimate anti-estrogen, but I haven't tried them yet.

armidex was so "two weeks ago" on elite. Now you gotta get aromasin or femara.... that is what the "sooper cool" guys use.... LOL

I have run proviron throughout a cycle, I have run it post cycle as well as off cycle, and I have run it combined with nolvadex on a cycle so that I was 3 weeks on 5-10 days off (on nolva) and then 3 weeks or so back on. I just decided as the cycle comes along depending on how im feeling, if I feel water retention is starting to creep up on me, if I feel I want to be holding a little more water and so on. It really does just come down to personal preference and what im using.

Up to 500mgs of test 1-2 tabs
Up to 1000mgs of test 2-4 tabs

This is not and never will be conclusive, some people hate the stuff but I will never be one of them. If you can get arimidex that should be the one to get.

wannaimpress I use it 50mgs daily post cycle alongside with clomid use, im sure some people dont run it, some people use lower and some use higher. just gotta find out what works for you.
