Use nolva and arimidex at the same time ? Why ?

On one of my previous posts someone layed out his buddies precontest stack and he was usng arimidex and nolva together. I have never herd of this before. I thought arimidex was far superior ?

Nolvadex blocks estrogen at some receptors and acts as an estrogen at other receptors while arimidex prevents the formation of estrogen thereby reducing circulating estrogen levels.

If you're using arimidex there's no need for nolvadex as a anti-estrogen. However, there is some evidence that it can improve lipid profiles (due to its weak estrogenic effect) while using an aromatase inhibitor like arimidex. That's the only reason I can think of for using both at the same time.

No. Some women with breast cancer are on it for 3 years or more.

nolvadex prevents gyno without eliminating estrogen. high estrogen on cycle is a good thing. the problem is that your body converts the excess testosterone into estrogen that is a bad thing. an easy solution is to also use estrogen in your cycle. when you get the dosage right the estro sides are no better or worst than without the added estro but your test levels are much higher. i avoid taking adex like a plague. nolvadex also has some recovery and anabolic effects that adex does not have. some people get emotional sides from nolva. not me.

arimidex is better than nolva. I still prefer letro overall.

i really dont see how people can compare them and say 1 is better than the other. better for what? they are 2 different types of drugs that do 2 completely different things. its like comparing viagra to tylenol. it all depends on why you are using them. keeping low estrogen levels on cycle is counter productive to mass building.
