Well, I guess they took my label seriously and now they are REALLY BABY KILLERS!!

Plus, the military said that they do not care if civilians die. Gee, I wonder why 9/11 happened....

The US military in Afghanistan has revealed that six children died in a raid on suspected militants in the eastern province of Paktia last week.

News of the deaths came shortly after the US apologised for killing nine children in a separate raid in the neighbouring province of Ghazni.

However, the US has warned it will not be deterred by civilian casualties.

The funny thing is that some camel-jockey in the middle east is saying the same thing about killing a few innocent Americans to win their WAR.

Does it make you feel good to know you are exactly like them?

You aren't terribly bright. Saying "we will not be deterred by civilian casualties" is nowhere near saying "we dont care if civilians die." Common sense would dictate that you do not pack your bags and go home from a war if you inadvertantely kill a dozen or so civilians. Collateral damage sucks, but it does happen. Nice try anyway.

Again, nice try, but a direct and deliberate attack on a bonafide civlian target is completely different than what has happened over the weekend.

Wow. I certainly hope you were not able to keep a straight face while typing this. True colors.

Anyway, you compared the attacks in Afghanistan to the attack on 9/11. I replied and stated that the two are completely different for obvious reasons. If you would like, you can go ahead and use that abstract thinking and explain why you think they ARE related, but I fear that my requests are falling on deaf ears.

Actually that would more closely describe what you are doing.

You post up "US troops killing kids/babies/everyone" as if to imply that there is no war, and we deployed troops there just for shits and giggles.

You've desrcibed your own behavior. ironic.

I doubt you even considered this, but following your thought process, if everyone's word is equal, then there is no concept of right or wrong.

It might make you feel nice to equate all "killing for a cause" as equal. This feeling might be extra nice if you live in, or hail from, a country that is a secoind or third rate military power.

However, smoking crack makes you feel nice too, and that's about the level of mind-altering you'd have to feel in order to equate terrorist attacks intended to kill civilians with purposeful, goal oriented, largely beneficial military actions designed to avoid civilian casualties.

In fact, a factual headline summarizing our invasion and occupation of Iraq could read "US SPARES IRAQI LIVES TO THE POINT OF HARMING THEMSELVES". Much of the harm being done to US troops now could have been averted of we had killed the Iraqi army, rather than letting it retreat and go home.

Any death of innocent people is sad, but the US military as made tremendous efforts to avoid collateral damage, setting an example of the value of human life that is otherwise absent in much of the Middle East.

How did we "take their land" again? You dont see the United States founding New Los Angeles just north of Baghdad, do you?

I don't think we "took" their land. We are occupying it, but under the previous regime they were basically an occupied power too. American flags are not atop their flagpoles.

We've killed our share of innocents but the fact that most of the Iraqi Army came home intact should demonstrate our goals more than the occasional accident....

The problem is that the aveage Iraqi is dirt poor and has little education, thus is adhering to any piece of horseshit he hears.

Retaliate?

They don't really have much to retaliate for - we copuld have killed 50,000 of them every day for a month if we wanted to, instead we took great pains to avoid Iraqi bloodshed wherever we could.

Changing a country from totalitarian to representative government is a real bitch, espceially when the powers that be in the area are totalitartian, and human rights are a threat to their power and lifestyle. Unsurprisingly, the dictators are going for the one thing that has always held their regimes together - religion-based fanatical terrorism.
 
actually you will never know how it is cause you will never experience the pain they did so im not suprised... here in usa they talk about how america won the 2nd world war basically all they talk about here in the us how great america is period.

there will never be an end to terrorism without a complete order of one

were we are all under one rule that controls all aspects of our lives.

You do know about the other side huh? Well I have been there, was wounded there, so I have a first hand account. Do you?

Hmm, one minute your saying Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, now you are saying that we are messing with a country that did cause 9/11?

I wasnt wounded but lived my childhood in a country where we were also dominated by the larger country, I had tanks in my backyard and I had bullet holes in the walls and no windows in the house my parents owed... I'm not talking about the US here but they did almost exactly what americans are doing over in middle east so I know the feeling, now people in my country are calm compared to those in the middle east but at least I know how it feels when someones taking away piece of your country while taking lifes of your relatives... and why? just because the bigger country can do that and its in their interests to do that...

again I know its wrong what they are doing, but if you kill their children you should expect at least something similar in return...

I dont know how you feel about iraq but I have 6 friends who are over there right now cursing at george bush and wishing him death(they are white american by the way in case you wanna jump at me about that too)

so tell me this, if your neighbor who is richer/bigger comes and blows up your house taking awaay your wifes/childrens life what would you do? his excuse is he just wants your land so that he can build a garage there and thinks you're just a nobody.

Ok you arent making much sense. You keep referring to people taking other people's land. We are not in Iraq to colonize and create American cities.

Im sorry about your parents house, I can only imagine what it was like. I was wounded while fighting in Iraq after a tour in Afghanistan. I am a white American, and I was not cursing Bush at all, even though I personally do not agree with the war on certain levels.

You also say we fucked with the wrong people which caused 9/11. How did we fuck with them? By buying their oil? And dont use the "you support Israel" excuse.
 
and then I moved to yougoslavia, and guess what I had american planes flying over my head instead of russian...america sticks their head into way too much shit and expect everyone to bow down to them but I doubt you will see that from middle eastern people...
 
Would you then suggest that the US change to more of a isolationist type country and not worry about anybody elses problems?

well I can not not use the "you support Israel" excuse cause people over there say thats whats its all about...

I mean you should know that america will do whats in its interest and expects like I said country to kiss americas ass but they wont do it...


if I'm not mistaken 9/11 was a long plotted atack which was a pay back from all the muslim people to the US for supporting israel...

and again if im not mistaken, people in iraq want americans to leave is that right? I mean you are on their land and killing their people so that would make sense.

We are not in Iraq killing their people. When I was actually there 95% of the Iraqis I saw and/or met were completely happy for what we have done. The same goes today from what my friends who are still over there tell me.

well I cant argue anymore, you guys want shit easy and all the power possible but thats not gonna happen with those people so keep fighting or not, america dug itself into a hole and its not gonna be easy to come out of it....

bush wants some oil from iraq so he will get it... prolly get it the hard way though.
