He could have been... Do you think that civilian casualties in war are a new thing? A result of the cowardice of today's military? Lot's of civilians died when we firebombed Dresden and Tokyo during WWII. Arguably, those events were part of the overall strategy for victory and played at least a nominal role in that victory.
Today's military executes orders with precision, using far more lethal munitions with greater accuracy than ever before. Without question it is a tragedy that 9 children were killed. They wouldn't have been if 9/11 had never happened. The blood is not on the hands of the US. Or do you think we shouldn't be in Afghanistan?

Perhaps we should have just let the Taliban alone after 9/11. Not gone after AQ and OBL. I'm sure at the time you were the only one standing on your canadian soapbox, throwing mud at your former country.

You were shocked, hurt, angry and confused like the rest of the world. You cheered US action in Afghanistan (I thank you for that, it meant a lot to me while I was there). Later, as US foreign policy became focused on Iraq and unilateral action, you were the first to see the folly in "going it alone". You knew it would be a harmful precedent, and that Iraq didn't really have WMD.

When it became clear that the popular thing to do was denounce war and criticize the easy target that the United States has become in the worlds eye, you hopped on the fucking wagon with the rest of the french up there in Canada and started slinging mud. You haven't stopped since.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion - but the fact that each one of yours is preceded by the words "elite" and"moderator" is a laughable farce. Have a good day, mate.
