Urine smell related to too much protein??

Hi!

This may be a weird post, but I´m just wondering:

Two days ago after I woke up, I pissed (ehehe) and I could easily smell the tuna of the night before... Today, the same thing happened, only I could smell the turkey ham I had eaten before bed the night before.

Could this smell be related to the protein in the tuna and ham not being absorbed? Like, is it possible that I am having too much protein for my body to handle???

Sounds like clemidia to me. You might want to go to the doctor and get checked for std's.

Can you speel it correctly then, so I can search stuff on it? thanx...
 
Its a very common sexually transmitted disease. Like 20% of the people in my town, it is a college town, have it. I've had it 3 times. It can usually be taken care of with antibiotics.

Uh, maybe you need to start drinking more water. I think the turkey and/or tuna smell is you wanting to smell that. your urine should be a semi-clear color. dark color usually signifies not enough h20
 
Hmmmm... are you sure... thanks alot Newskin, you just eat too much tuna and now everyone knows I've had chlamydia!

I don´t eat a lot of it... I have about 1g/lb of weight a day worth of protein...

deca_durabolin_, do you think that us smelling the protein we ate beforehand tells us we are overeating on protein??
 
Still, if your urine smells like tuna I would go see the doc.

I admit it, I have a tendancy to bang nasty-looking ho's. I dig chicks with lots of piercings.

Hey a few years back in college I couldnt afford protein so Id eat like 5 cans of tuna a day and my urine would WREAK like tuna. ANd I never had an std. Its funny, Ive told this story many times to people about the tuna smell.--- "I used to eat so much tuna that my urine smelled like it!!"" So dont worry about it, other people have had similar experiences, before you go to the doc stop eating the tuna, if it goes away, then you know what is the culprit. And stay from the nasty slices.

WHOA!! That's a hell of an assumption bro! :)

Chlamydia is typically marked by small amounts of clear/cloudy discharge from the tip of the penis, painful urination, and/or pain and swelling around the testicles.

Foul smelling urine is NOT a key indicator although may be present with Chlamydia.

IT was a bit occasional, the smell... I just wanted to know if it was my body hinting me "hey, you´re eating too much protein bro!" ehehhe
