Urgent Medical Advice Needed!

I made a post a few days ago about how my tricep was swollen and black and blue from a fina inject...well now today when I woke up, I noticed not only is it black/blue and swollen, but the whole area around the inject site has turned YELLOW!!! What the hell does this mean? Beginning of infection, abscess, signs of jaundice, something else maybe?? I have no clue what to do, or whether or not I should seek medical attention. Any help would be much appreciated! thanks

Well what happens to a black and blue? It initally looks ugly, then as it heels it turns colors. Yellow is one of them. But then again I am not a doctor, so if it worries you that much get it checked? Does it hurt when you touch it? Is the area hot?

You had a hematoma (blood under your skin). As it ages, and is reabsorbed by the body, it goes from purple (blood) to black (clotting) to yellow (removal) to brown (residual) with occasional flecks of green. Seriously. It's quite interesting. You gave yourself quite a hematoma, my man. You must have hit a vein (do you aspirate?) and only prolonged pressure of say 10 minutes would have prevented significant hematoma formation. It doesn't sounds like infection, or it would be hot perhaps with red streaks or pus. I think the total absorption cycle is 10 days except for some longer lingering yellow-brown. I think your fine, but try to isolate mentally the cause of your hematoma, whether failure in your injection technique, site, and needle withdrawal care. Good luck.

Yes it is warm to the touch, and sore to the point where I cant bend my arm too much.

Hmm, that sounds accurate. Yes I did hit a vein, though when I aspirated there was no blood. It was only when I pulled out that blood gushed everywhere, hence I knew I must have hit something. I just wanted to make sure it won't turn into an infection. Thanks bro

warm to the touch is a worry...personally id get it looked at

the yellow color is from a compound called bilirubin, its a breakdown product of haemoglobin from the blood that leaked everywhere when you bruised.

if you suspect an abscess, get it looked at.

cheers

Well I've had sites swell up before and be warm to the touch, though it went away after a week. The only thing that worried me this time is the yellowish tint around it.

Sounds like you will be okay, give it another day. If you still feel worried about it, get it checked. Best advice I can give you. Good Luck, feel better.

U still looking out for that jaundice thing & its relation to itching? Dont panick, I think ur liver is fine. Alcoholics abuse alocohol for years b4 the liver starts paking in. Besides ur AS dosages were on the low-moderate side anyway.

Yea bro, I'm still keeping an eye on the body itching, because I still get it often. I'll obviously have to have liver values checked post cycle, as I did run both winny and dbol this time around. It's a good thing I've cut out nearly all alcohol during the cycle as well.
