upgrading is a bitch

fuck. i hate upgrading to a new OS.

i had win 98, and i was too fucking lazy to upgrade to 2000 or xp. so i finally upgraded my system last night (winxp pro), and now i have to download a shitload of new drivers, new software, and tweak a bunch of shit.

i fucking hate microsoft.

XP Pro is bad ass IMO... the only thing I hate about it is it starts to automatically download files without me knowing, and then it asks me to install them

To change that, right click My Computer on your desktop, click on Properties, then click the Automatic Updates tab. From there, under settings, you can choose to "Notify me before downloading any updates and notify me again before installing them on my computer." You can turn off this whole feature in this window if you want also. Hope that helps
