UPDATE on RC bust

Well-known member
I cleared this with Elite Moderator Needtogetaas so don't delete.

After two months without council, Chris and Jennifer have finally been appointed council. All their assets have been seized,,actually all assets were seized 24 hours before any arrests occured. This includes all their money, their houses, their vehicles. The prosecution delayed them getting appointed lawyers by saying they must be hiding money somewhere, but when a research company feels they are operating within the confines of the law, they reinvest in themselves and dont have any hidden stash..This unfortunately was the case. RC did not have a buried treasure, just plenty of assets the federal government plans on trying to take in the form of forfeitures. Even though selling chemicals is not illegal, RC has been put at such a disadvantage with delayed council, it will be an uphill fight. Chris's lawyer is not a criminal lawyer as he needs, he's a real estate lawyer. Jennifer's appointed lawyer left her a voicemail saying he couldn't make the arraignment, but would be sending a colleague to be at the arraignment "in his stead", whatever that means. ...and by the way, he no showed. Thank God her family came up with the money to hire Donnie Dixon and Josh Lother out of Savannah to provide a competent defense. Chris's lawyer has made it clear he plans on remaining passive during the proceedings and will simply follow suit from the hired law team.

That's bullshit delaying getting them councel. Sounds like a clear violation of the rights.

That sucks man I hope shit turns out ok for them. My bro ordered some "research hcg" and then read about the bust two days later. His CC was still charged and he paid it to avoid any suspicion of dispute lol...he also cleaned house, as if SWAT is going to kick in your door for a vial of HCG lololol

They said to just dispute it and they wouldnt fight it. Thats funny tho. Peace of mind is priceless tho.lol

risky biz selling even legal stuff nowadays, but it's more like borderline legal i guess.

As far as my friend are concerned there were acting within the confines of the law and would never do anything illegal. I actually used to work out with Chris about 12 years ago before he moved to Florida......If I can get a pic of him you guys will be impressed.

Well, the repetitive fuck over by the federal government continues. They have yet to get a straight answer on whether or not sildenafil citrate is legal to sell or not. If it is legal as a research chemical, then the case is done. As of now, they are not aware of any stipulations to making a chemical legal to sell...for example, it is not required that the vendor asks the purchaser for their credentials or their planned use of the chemical. It is just not necessary...for anyone but RC. From the start, the feds have crippled them to get an advantage. They have taken all of their money, their assets, anything they could sell to afford them the opportunity to hire an attorney. Instead, they are financially ruined and left at the mercy of the "public defender" which is a joke. Chris's is lazy, and Jen's didn't bother to show up for the arraignment. Thank God family stepped up and hired an excellent lawyer capable of providing a competent and aggressive defense. The feds did not count on anyone helping out, and without the help of family, the defense would be marginal at best leaving the clients penniless I'm sure, but free on probation...Just my guess. The case is still in progress, RC is still financially crippled, and the federal gov't still wants 100% of their estate.
I dont know what else to say without divulging their lawyers strategie. lol,,I dont really know his strategie but I trust him to do his best and make this case what it is, nothing.
Also, The lead agent on the case from the start has been talking about steroids..no steroids were found. So what do steroids have to do with a case where none were found? The answer is: Steroids have NOTHING to do with this case. and just because the agent likes to talk about them, it wont make them appear in evidence. Without the help of family to pay for a hired lawyer, a fair trial would be a joke. The saying you get what you pay for is true.

sidenote: Chris and Jen are both at the end of their rope. They are past the point of wanting to be dead rather than deal with this

I wish them the best....it sucks but hopefully their lawyers will eventually pony up.
I think it's hilarious that the lead investigator is talking steroids when none were found. IGNORANCE IS BLISS.
:Chef: :tuc:

I think you will find it is illegal to sell a prescription drug in the US if my country is anything to go by. Thats why all the clone labs for EDs are offshore as are their websites. I feel very sorry for your friends. It certainly looks like the authorities have over reacted. Just a crazy situation.

I hope it doesn't upset people to say this, but these research companies are breaking the law. The focus of this business is simple and obvious - dispense prescription ancillary drugs to bodybuilders without a prescription.

If these compounds were being sold to Universities and legitimate researchers it is one thing. But these operations build a catalog of BB specific drugs, and advertise "research" chemicals on bodybuilding websites. Clearly the term "research" is just intended to circumvent the prescription laws.

I am not trying to be an ass at all. I feel for these people. But I don't want to pretend what was going on was not very illegal and risky. Everyone selling research chems in the same way needs to be prepared for a similar result.

I would agree and exploiting any loophole always has a very limited shelf life.

All being said i hope that any concerned walk free and i think the result will rely very much on how good the defense lawyer is and why the Police have done all they can to prevent that happening

Wrongun!

Grey areas aften turn to black.
Be prepared.

Agreed and unfortunately there is always a scapegoat that sets the test case. Hopefully this is not it but i bet many are watching th eoutcome as sure it will have a knock on effect

Wrongun!

this may be the beginning of the end for research chem companies. this case may set a precident for action to be taken on other sites. it was only a matter of time.

Trumped up charges and a waste of YOUR USA tax paying dollars.

They would just be pushed offshore and that is the only effect the case would have if successful, which seems unlikely at this time. If the feds really want to shut down research chems they will go again at someone else and just use the experiences learned from this case to solidify their next one.

so that would mean getting through customs? not worth it.
