Update on my mechanic issues...

Well like I said I had narrowed it down to the coil pack... replaced it and viola! that was the ticket all right....

Everything is all good now, so just wanted to say thanks to all that helped...

I have already hit up everyone who was actually helpful with some green and some of you's (who were extra helpful) will be getting a second helping in a few days....

so, uh, did you actually test the coil, or just replace it? remember, any idiot can turn a wrench.....

in any case, it's good that it's all working again. now to solve any further problems, get rid of the Ford and get a real car

Not tested yet- but not totally brainless either....

I figured this - two cylinders messing up = must be upstream from coil and not cylinders, has new wires so not those either, if it was upstream from the coil (wiring, etc) = chances are more than just 2 cylinders would be misfiring.... if the coil worked at all...

I thought that would be enough to go on, FYI I have the coil in my car and getting it tested after work today... just to make sure..

BTW-I am a big mustang fan- so ford is okay for that reason with me.... also, now that GM says no more Camaros or Firebirds for at least 10 years- I am sure mustangs will become popular as hell....

Try replacing the coil pack. I think that`s your problem right there. Let me know how it goes.

Well it is going to be even harder to fix a 2004 -2010 camaro - cuase there won't be any...
