Uninvited internet software installed on my PC - How do I clear it?

Hello All,

I have put the internet in my house. Part of the package was spyware sotware. Anyhow, somewhere along the line I obviously picked up a program by accident from a website where a company selling their own package have installed a "Trial" on my system and I cannot get rid of it. "SpyAxe". I tried clearing it from my C-Drive by dragging it into the trash-bin but permission is denied. I uninstall it but it always comes back as "New software installed" the next time I log on. Its like been held to ransom for $50 because this big flashing "Spyware found" reminder comes up and won't go away.

Putting this on C&C as there are some really smart Bros here who know what to do!

Good luck for 2006 from The English McBain!!!

I had some internet gambling bullshit hijack my system and I tried everything to remove it unsuccessfully.

Eventually I went to START > PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > SYSTEM TOOLS > SYSTEM RESTORE, and restored my system back to a date before I had the problem.

Of course, you want to back up any important current data before you do this.

Try going into your cookies & deleting that specific one.
2 days after I first Got online I went to Playboy (of course). Somehow I got a cookie for a stripping girl on my screen. So I went ahead & deleted the file. Next time my (then) 16 yo daughter logged on there was this 3" high stripper. She didn't say anything 'til supper when she announced at the table "Dad's been looking at porn!"
When I went to delete all cookies, it didn't go. But I could select that one & I was gone.

kazaa comes with adware, and if you remove it, then kazaa stops working
