Uniform Commercial Code - UCC...?

One of the guys I work with was talkin about this shit and gave me a site to check out. I had heard of some of these claims prior, but never really paid any attention. Anyways, I went to the site and looked it over and although they are trying to get you to pay them to process all this paperwork for you, you could do it all yourself. My question is, does anyone have any first hand experience with this. the link to the site is:
www.securedparty.org
Did some searches on google and found a few things but its pretty hard to tie everything together. Sounds like a crock a sheeyot if you ask me...

I couldnt get into that site, but the UCC is far from a crock. It is the basis for almost every commerical dealing there is. It is an outline for the manner in which contracts between merchants and non-merchants are handled in every state.

That is the biggest load of crap i have ever read. First off they refer to the UCC as a contract, when in fact it is merely a way to handle contracts. The UCC is the standard by which every contract is looked at. Thats why the UCC stands for the Uniform Commercial Code and not the Unifrom Commercial Contract.

I think they are trying to scam people. I dont buy a thing the site says. And i have never seen any legal interpretation of Article 9 to mean anything other than the fact that it covers secured transactions and not getting out of debt and copyrighting your own name.

The site is called the "secured party" however, Article 9 refers ONLY to secured TRANSACTIONS.

I wouldnt pay a penny to these clowns.
