Two weeks ago, I had a friend from Oregon down for a 6 day visit. Ok, we all know what the weather is like there, so you can imagine how nice it was here for him to come.

Gave him the key to my house and I stayed at my BF's house, thus ensuring he had complete privacy. I loaned him my car to drive. (now he kept my house clean and my car immaculate, no probs there)

Took him out to dinner a couple of nights and hung out with him on the beach twice.

He is incredibly shy, so I helped him meet people and he had some hot times with them.

Ok, so he goes back two Saturdays ago. And I call and leave a message Mon and Tues. No reply. I email and call again. I get an email from him this morning. About 2 sentences that oozed sarcasm. The message I am getting (reading) is that he found it resentful that I did all this for him. He thinks it was like I was rubbing it in his face.

I thought I was being nice. Saving him money and helping him have a delightful time, but apparently my good intentions made me the bad guy.

Fuck being nice.

What is weird is that I was not condescending in any way and went out of my way to avoid making him insecure. I never took him to my BF's place. Or anything like that. He has not said thank you for anything.

No my ex is already down here. Doing the weird eye stare everytime he sees me. Sending mutual acquaintances to the gym to chat me up and spy on me, etc...

I think I hung out with him enough, because I wanted to give him some space to be with the guys he picked up. He would point out who he liked and eventually I would get them over and have them talking to him. In six days, we went out 3 times, he got lucky every single night. Went to the beach twice and went out to dinner twice.

I think he is just bitter he had to go back to the cold weather and no hot guys territory and leave this fun place behind.

I mean, if I wanted to really brag and make him feel insecure. I would have showed him my BF's place. Or showed up at the beach in the Bentley.

This is the same guy I used frequent flier miles to get a ticket for so he could come visit me when I went to Menorca in May.
