i pretty much just assume that I can't depend on anyone and that they will back out at the last minute or not show up or not help me out....etc., etc.....that way I'm not disappointed when it happens.

It is sort of an acquired taste. You might love it or you might hate it. The only other people I know that like it hated it the first time they heard it.

Look up Emperor, or Dimmu Borger. Those are good bands to start off with.
