Just heard it on Fox and Friends, shitty, another smack in the face to Major League Baseball. This sucks,Matthews jr. one of the off seasons hottest free agents.Tell them bastards to get off MLB's back,Thanks GWB.

It's not GWB's fault, - he was pressured from EVERYONE to do something about this.

Whether you think it's good for the sport or not, there is no denying one F-A-C-T............in MLB and other pro sports - IT'S CHEATING

If these big, overpaid, babies can't conform to a set of rules that they have always known about, then maybe give someone else a chance at an 8-figure contract.

Bro, I hear what you're saying but IMO I have say let them go at it. I believe it's rampant in just about every pro sport. Hell, it took a juiced up McGuire and Sosa to bring baseball back from the dead back in the 90's. People loved watching those bastards jacking balls out 400+. Again, you're right it is cheating. But to me it's kind of like prohibition. You're not gonna stop an elite athelite from trying to get an edge someway somehow to get over on his opponet or some rooky chomping at the bit for his job. We're talking about ego maniacs that are the best in the world at what they do.

Remember, I'm PRO-AAS, but rules are rules.

I "do" agree with your points, but the only way to make it work, would be to "allow" it in MLB. With the media as savvy as ever, there will never again be a way to hide it's use..........

So....either

1.)Allow it
2.)Toss the players that break MLB's rules.

I love the Steelers Doc bringing it in, how blatantly funny. The steelers are going to need more that some juice though LOLOLOLOL

That is such total BS. The reason it was dead in the 90's is because they went on strike and the average Joe got tired of paying more for tickets because these babies couldn't live on $2 - 3 million a year.

When you say let them go - you are going to let every record be beaten by someone who is breaking the rules. That smacks in the face of Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron and all the other greats who set those records on talent alone.

Facts :

- Babe Ruth played in a segregated League with over 1/3 of the best players of that time were excluded cause' of color.

- Ruth also used performance-enhancing drugs, injecting himself with sheep testosterone until it put him in the hospital. The New York papers buried the story, reporting that the slugger had a "stomach ache."

Athletes by nature, have always and will always do WHATEVER it takes, and take whatever is out there to give themselves an edge over the competition.

It's human nature......................

Who said anything about why baseball died? I stated how it came back
And yeah let'em go. How about Hall of Famer Gaylord Perry who openly admitted to doctoring the baseball all the time while playing. Are you going to lobby to get his ass thrown out? Babe Ruth was great but he would be just another player this day in time w/ all of the players we have access to now IMO. Hank Aaron was great as well but I remember in that era evryone was taking stimulants. Where's the outrage on this?

I could care less about the athletes or celebrities. I am worried about myself. I about shit my pants when I read what pharmacy was busted. Yikes.

So who honestly thinks athletes in the fifties and sixites did not juice at all? The media frenzy today is ridiculous. The reporters get a story and think they know everything about it so they basically brainwash people. The media today did not exist at the level it operates today. This week its all anna nicole, next week brittany shaving her head, the following all you will hear about is the latest story out there. " If your not cheating your not trying hard enough" MY personal quote.

You are "pro aas,but the rules are the rules"?You are very knowledgable, but this sentence doesnt make sense.Like the "rules"we break if/when we decide to use AAS?How are we that different than these athletes you are criticizing? The bottom line is we ALL know the risk and consequences of getting caught, but we still do it in an effort to be our best,or look better than the average guy at the gym,or for whatever reason, and many of us take that chance. So by your statement,it shows some arrogance to the fact that we are very much like those you call "cheaters",We break "rules"(laws),to try to make ourselves "better",or to get an "edge".

Maybe I came across a little misrepresented..................

Look - if the Cops came in here right now and busted me,.....I would take my medicine.

Where did I say that they are "OK" for me, but not for Pro Athletes???

All I did was state that I was Pro-AAS, (doesn't mean I am displaying a double-standard)

Peace

he's just sayin in sports, there are rules bro. Some of those rules pertain to not injecting testosterone for extra athtletic performance. as far as us (bodybuilders) cheating, well there's no "bodybuilding rules" saying we can't use AAS to better our performance in the gym. The LE is the only thing that has "rules" pertaining to us.
