Sorry Stilleto - that song sucked. I couldn't even watch the performance.

I don't care what the judges said - Castro is going home.

I hated to start a new post on this but did not find Pic3's normal Idol thread. Is he turning Str8?
 
I love Dave Cook, however, last night I thought his song choice sucked. I was NOT impressed at all.

Jason did well last night with his song. IMO.

Cook is my favorite to win. If Stilleto would do her bookie bet now, I would put my Karma on him BUT - I hated his performance last night as well.

Still - Jason is going home. To first sing "Somewhere Over a Rainbow" and then with a Ukalele - oh man!!! :rainbow:

Tonight is just the Idol Gives Back night - too bad have to wait until Thursday to settle this.

I think the fan base for both Country Girl and Shayesha will keep them in it for a few more weeks though I think Country girl and Brook are starting to split votes. Kristie Lee needs to resort to some sexier clothes/ Short shorts to keep her in the running - just sayin.

You know - Brook may go home this week. She needs to sit at the piano to sing - it distracts from her constipated face.

Castro has a tough fan base as well - David A. is taking all the little young teen votes and the other 2 guys are way more talented for the tweens and the older people. He is in trouble all around.

Country Girl is beautiful. She needs to go on America's Top Model and leave the singing to the pros. I just do not think she's in the league that the rest are in.

I also think David Artchuletta(sp) has a perfect voice for Broadway. I'd not spend $$$ for his "sound" on a C/D or Itunes, etc.

Artchuletta has a great pure voice but his routine is getting boring. He will need to mix it up if he is going to make the final 4 - imho.

I'll say this, Castro is definitely NO Israel Kamakawiwo'ole!! But that song/arrangement (Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World), performed by Iz (on the ukulele), is a very cool song. It has been used many times in movies, commercials, and TV shows. It also garnered him (Iz) awards and recognition.

Hate to play the race card here but Shyesha has demographics on her side. Ukulale (check spelling db) is splitting to vote with too many people.

Plus 1) A man should never sing somewhere over the rainbow unless he is looking for dick to be smeared on his teeth 2) Unless you are from Hawaii, leave the Ukulale (sp) at home.
