For all those that live in or around London I thought I'd let you in on a secret. Holland & Barret in UXBRIDGE (underground zone 6) have an ongoing (never-ending) 50% sale on all bodybuilding products. This is because GNC moved in around the corner and H&B want them out (this is what the manager told me). Also, H&B UXBRIDGE told me that they can just stack 'em high and sell 'em cheaper due to the shear number of customers from the RAF base and University nearby...

Example: Precision Engineered Whey Protein normal 21.99, UXB price 10.99. MET RX normal 34.99, UXB price 17.99.

I hope you're joking. We can get ANY protein here in Moscow. But not that cheap if we are talking about worthwhile brand. For example Ret use "Formula 80+" by Multipower. But I prefer "X-treme muscle unlimited" by Inkospor...

I have some of that protein u mentioned from H&B. I hate it! Gives me the squirts! Personally I think most of H&B's BB suplinents are of very poor quality.

Holland and Barrett could reduce there protein to a fiver and i still wouldnt buy it again, it is pure shit.
The metrx though that is cheap.

H&B is the best for Vits&minerals and especially
herb extracts. Its also good for other hard-to-acquire
micro-nutrients.

Don't the protein powders contain what they say they do? Do you know something I should know?

I don't want to pay twice as much just cos something tastes nicer. That money is for gym membership, bike, sluts, and cannabis....

I but protein based #1 on content then #2 TASTE.

I drink a lot of prot.powder during Uni and a need a good tasting
one. H&B's(I've tried the Whey and Soy) TASTES
LIKE SHIT.

The best(for my money) is Nutrisports Chocolate 90+
protein with whey isolate. TASTES really, really creamy.
5Kg goes for £59 and lasts me 1 month.

I've lost count of the different prot. powders I've tried and
I'd rather buy one thats actually palatable.(Content
being A-Ok)

I shall stick to MetRx and H&B Whey for now... until I have greater salary! or until someone trells me that they (H&B) don't contain what they say they do...

I know a guy with poor genetics who never ate properly. He only had one decent meal a day.
However he religiously used Ultimate Nutrition Whey protein and got incredible gains. Big and hard all natural. When he finally did juice had awesome results.

Hey fonz is the nutrisport that you pay £60 for at trade price or could it be bought for cheaper.
I currently pay £65 for 5kg of Natures Best whey isolate (mixes well and tastes good), but i get it at trade price.

H & B, as Fonz said tastes like shit multiplied by 2. I have lost count on the number of times I have thrown up when using it. For the price though it is a good mix in my opinion. It isnt only Uxbridge that has a permanent 50% discount on it. Many of the H&B's around London and the outskirts have it on as well.

Best protein I have ever tried is TwinLab Super Whey Fuel. In fact this is the only protein powder I look forward to drinking.
