Sounds like you just need to meet some people. You would be suprised how far a simple hello and I'm new in town will get ya. It takes some nerve, but put yourself in that persons shoes. Would you mind someone starting a conversation and then saying...Hey...we should hang out some time. It will work and before you know it you will know everyone in that city. You wont be standing in lines at the clubs no more and your boyfriend will be the one going , where the hell is that girl. Just look for people that you would like to have as your friends.... that simple.
