It was freaky and if you ever saw the area, you would know that no one flys thru there. It's completely mountainous.

One time, when I was young (like 12, so before drugs) I was up in my room reading in the middle of the night (lights off with a little flashlight) and I heard this crazy woowoowoowoo sound outside (rythmic sound) all this bright orange light was coming in from outside at like 3am.... anyways, we lived way out in BFE in vancouver, wa (north of portland oregon) on the end of a dead end street... I thought it might be a street sweeper or something, but I looked outside my window and it was bright as day (but weird orange light like a halogen streetlamp) and nothing was in the street and I couln't tell where it was coming from.... I freaked and jumped back in my bed and got under the blankets.... after a few minutes I could not hear the noise anymore and I looked out and the light and evrything was gone.... there were freaky disected cows found all over the area right around then (the2yrs or so we lived there) too....
my in laws said they were sitting out in the back yard by the pool several years ago here in AZ (the area was less populated and on the edge of the population back then) when this light just appeared out of nowhere in the sky (totally silent) and a bright light was on them and perfectly still for like a minute... they said then all of a sudden it looked like the light just shot straight up and dissappeared in about a 1/10th of a second....

Becoming-Could they make out any shape,or did it just seem like a huge light?

they said they did not see it approach, they were just sitting there and all of a sudden this spotlight is on them.... they said that it was perfectly still.... also they could not make out the shape cause it was shining a bright light directly down on them... they were sitting at their patio table and my father in law said he could see clear circle on the ground around them (like a spot light).... then it just took off - and it was completely noiseless....

I had another buddy that saw one once and he would never tell me about it (cause I would ask daily) then one time we were blasted at some party and out of no where he told me about it.... but I don't remember any of it.... I think it was pretty good tho... I am pissed I don't remember....
