U.S. Airlines Questions

Is it true that Delta does not offer food on their domestic flights but instead snack packs???

Took Continental over the weekend first class to LAX and it was a joke. I really have no idea what they factor the extra cost is including?

I'm not sure. I don't fly Delta. Usually United or AA. I hear El Al (Israeli airline) was the best airline to fly on. Leather reclining chairs, everyone had their own DVD players, much more space, friendly staff, etc.

Or so I heard from people who have flown. :)

I have a 5 1/2 hour flight coming up so I am going to need to figure out some food options to bring

China Airlines (the Taiwanese version) is decent. I think they served five full meals on a 13 hour flight from LAX to Taipei.

I flew El Al to England.....years ago so I don't know how their service has changed, but I can tell you that they have 3 different people interogate you before you get on that plane

I once flew from Kansas City to Chicago and they did little Japanese steakhouse show w/ fire and everything.. it was worth the extra 75 bucks

AA doesn't serve meals either, no snacks, nothing.

AA serves snacks(nuts) and Soda on the flights over 1.5 - 2 hours in the main cabin.

And full meals in first class..

Peanuts, if held tightly enough between the thumb and forefinger can be used as a deadly weapon. They can mame or scratch someone eyes out, rendering them useless and crying.

Let's not have "them" win. Let's not.

Really????? When did you fly AA last? I did three weeks ago. Boston to SanJuan

4.5 hour flight Beverages only, both ways.

I flew 6 months ago on AA to Aruba from Boston again both ways. Just beverage service.

Meals and snacks are available for PURCHASE. No peanuts, no granola bar, no muffin, zilch.

I only fly AA.. About 3 times a year,
The last trip was between Orlando and Ft Worth and Ft Worth to DC and DC to Miami in late December. Free Nuts/Pretz and Soda on all flights. In the main cabin, they did offer a meal box for purchase on one of these flight on top of the snack and soda. Usually they only offer a meal if the flight takes place during Bfast, Lunch or Dinner times.

No esplanation for your lack on nuts, other than it being International vs Domestic. Or they just changed the nuts being free in 07 as the drinks are still free on all flights according to AA.com..
