??tyrosine??

I have been hearing that doctors are prescribing tyrosine to aids patients to clear there recepters so they keep responding to deca or whatever they are prescribed..does it really help with your receptors??

Basically, 'L-Tyrosine is a non-essential (or semi-essential), neutral, genetically coded amino acid. It is very little soluble in water.' I don't see how it would help aids patients much, but again that's beyond a lot of research that I've done.

It's an amino acid, non-essential, you can add it to your diet I don't see why not but I would much rather go with L-Glutamin for max. effectiveness.

Yes it does provide lots of benefits on cycle in the CNS department. That is, if you train intensley and requently enough to fatigue your CNS. In that case, tyrosine may have a profound effect. There is also some research of the U.S. military using about 8-12g of L-Tyrosine a day (the number of grams is from memory) in order to reduce over training as overtraining is in most cases a nerological thing. Some argue that Acetyl-L-Tyrosine has better absorption (such as in the case of Acetyl-L-Carnitine). But most positive research in that case is on plain old non acetyl bounded Tyrosine, so that's the way I personally prefer it.

thanks for all the info i will add it in see if ti helps

Tyrosine is best used on an empty stomach FYI. If you take it with any protein it will have to compete for absorbtion with all the other aminos. Most people use it as an alternative to T3/T4 medications used for hypothyroidism. Tyrosine combines with iodine atoms to form active thyroid hormones so take it with kelp if you're going for more thyroid hormone. I suggest taking it with B complex as well which is needed for overall metabolism and to make neurotransmitters. They army was using it to boost neurotransmitters I think. I vaguely remember reading that study years back. Tyrosine is a precursor of several neurotransmitters, dopamine (gives you energy and sex drive), adrenaline, and norepinephrine, which is why it's good for overall metabolism. Don't take it before bed or you'll have crazy dreams, I made that mistake. Had trouble falling asleep and had some freaky ass dreams, I've known other people this happened to as well. Probably due to the dopamine and adrenaline boost.
