okay so you take in 200/300g of protein from just shakes? thats an extreme amount bro, if you get that alone without food and just shakes....your takin in way too much protein

How many Calories do fruit drinks and Ice tea have????

My iced tea that I buy down at Uni Mart has 1600 calories per gallon. It goes down real easy and doesn't fill you up.

When I'm on I take in between 400-600g of protien per day. My body responds well to that amount. End of story.

Hey Guys,

My husband is just finishing up his cycle. This is his first cycle in years. Since coming off, he's lost his motivation in the gym. His diet sucks too! I think he's depressed because already he's noticing that his strength has gone down and he is losing weight. I don't like to see him unhappy. I know what it feels like to hate your body and I don't want that to happen to him. What can I do to help him keep his gains? What can I feed him? Prepare for him? How can I motivate him? WE are both obsessed with the scale. Me with making it go down and him with making it go up. Anyone else experience any of these issues when coming off? Thanks in advance!

If he wants to keep any of his gains, he should keep going to the gym.

Tell him to go to the gym just 3times a week, for now, if he is having that much of a problem being motivated. During those 3days he should focus on the main lifts like deads, squats, and bench. Tell him to eat no matter what, force it in and if he can't than tell him to take in a lot of liquid calories as they might be easier.

The most important part of the cycle is post cycle recovery. Juice Authority had just made a similar thread on it, you can view it for my other comments on how to keep motivated.

I would suggest changing up his reps/sets so he doesn't know how much strength he is losing. Going on creatine would help too.

How often do you go to the bathroom while you take in that much protein?

Whats up guys....Im just wondering what type of foods do you eat that are high in calories and high in protein while your on your cycle....And what do you eat that are high in calories and high in protein while ur off ur cycle???

Types of food you should eat weather on a cycle or not:

1) Anything with high protein (meats, eggs, etc)
2) Complex carbs
3) Healthy fats

Everything else is secondary, IMO.

I go to the bathroom well...I never really counted. Its not unusually high though considering I take in between 3500-4000 cals. per day. I usually drink 4 shakes per day between meals and each shake has 60 grams of protien. I mix it with water and it doesn't make me full, bloated or give me any gas. Normally I try to keep my protien in the 200-300grams per day range.

I notice that if I go above 200-250g of protein/day, the amount of times that I "don't digest it" greatly increases. Just an observation I had, and ginger root helps but not as much as I would hope.

Your body may be better at tolerating protein though ...
