Tylers Liver Detox?

hulk0427

New member
I have heard good things about using this product on and off cycle. I was wondering if anyone knows that this stuff actual helps the liver? Was anyone's liver count get better on this stuff?

I've never seen any bloodwork for any of the products from that company, showing anything they have does what it claims to do.

I'm positive it won't hurt you, milk thistle is cheaper and probably works as good as tyler's, drink lot's of water....

It's a good question, actually. Anyone ever see any bloodwork showing tylers actually does anything?

Nope. This is why I am so cynical towards supplements.

I'm becoming very anti-pharma at this point too. But, it is funny (well sad, actually) how people are so anti drugs that have thousands of pages of documentation on its safety and efficacy but yet spend $150 on a bottle of "God knows what" because Kevin Trudeau or "Bob Smith" says it works.

They are also more likely to credit a natural supplement in curing their cancer let's say, if they are taking that in addition to their chemotherapy or whatever.

Let's not assume that it is any less true that there is a guy at supplement company X sitting behind closed doors counting his stacks of cash from some bullshit product than there is the CEO of pharma company X doing the same damn thing but with a product proven to work.

They're all "looking out for us," all the way to the bank.

I've always used Tyler's during any cycle with orals...and my liver values have typically bounced back to normal relatively quickly. I don't have anything to compare it to since I've never not used Tyler's during a cycle.

if I'm not mistaken, Tyler's is primarily obtained through doctors (other than the "store" we all know of, and they get it through a doctor). so I'm thinking it has *some* merit

My formulation for "POST-CYCLE" has N Acetyl Cysteine, milk thistle, choline, Pirkoliv and a little r-ala -- all shown to enhance liver function and restore enzyme levels.

This is an area which hasn't been explored with great depth. Obviously, protecting liver function from steroids is not number one on the AMA's list of things to do. No prevenitive measures are. But the research is good on these ingredients and if you're going to use something as an "insurance" doesn't it make sense to use one that also has 3 natty anti e's and 3 ingredients for libido and erectile function? If ever there was a supp for guys on gear, it's this. My baby! :artist:

How can you not trust this kind of thing?

Quite true.

Oh yeah?

Ever been to a doctor's office and seen that stuff?

I haven't.

Ever.

I've never been to a doctor's office and seen stuff like cialis and viagra or any other med samples.... but they're there... so I dunno where you're going with this.

I'm just relaying the information that I've heard of the product.

So you've always used it, and it's primarily obtained through a doctor, but you never got it from a doctor and have never seen it at your doctor's. Oh...and you're only relaying the information as you heard it.

Doesn't it seem like the information you've been given is inconsistent?

Has anyone heard of LIVER_RX from HTP ? I was reading on the bacl label and has some of what u mention here anyideas?
Regards.

why is everything an advertisment now...cant we just help eachother?...wtf

It's a tough balance for sure, but realize, sometimes it comes down to what the better product is. Everything costs money and if someone wants to know the merit of a product it's only fair to make comparisons as to which is better and which cost less. That, in its own way, is helping each other.

I never just say "buy MY product." I WANT people to compare so they can judge for themselves which is better.

I can rattle off a bunch of things that are:
1) typically obtained through a doctor
2) that I have never actually gotten from a doctor
3) or that I've never seen in a doctor's office

Does it mean that these things I've gotten elsewhere are all crap too? Dude, I'm not getting into a pissing match with you... please save it for someone else.

My point is simply that AnaFit told you that you needed to use something, and that it's straight from a doctor (but they could hook you up with some, without a doctor's visit), and you bought into it. Not only did you buy into it, but you never did a cycle without it...

I'm trying to save you from the Matrix here...to free you...

actually, I didn't buy into any of the doctor stuff.... it didn't matter to me that much... I looked into the product on my own, thought it could be useful during a cycle with orals, and bought it.... I bought MyoGenX and Unleashed, etc, which use herbs most people have never even heard off from another country....what does that tell you? Believe me, I'm not hung-up on the fact that the product MAY or MAY NOT be sold by a doctor

Fair point. Sometimes we have to go with some scketchy evidence and personal experience and experimentation. It's almost like the original doctors and physical culturists of the early 20th century. A lot of what they knew was a sort of "folk wisdom", learned through trail and error. Some of it was way off, but some of it was pretty damn accuarate.

Keep in mind also, the fact that Avenacosides lowers S H GB isn't exacltly something the medical profession is all that interested in. But to bodybuilders, it's HUGE.

And let it be known, I have never worn a lab coat.
