I've used stuff that was 5 or 6 years old. As long as it was sterile when sealed, the major risk is just that it will lose some potency. You can always bake it and/or run it through a sterile filter if you're really worried.

Really? Oil sealed or semi sealed doesn't stay.
It doesn't go away it goes bad. The oil looses its ability to become soluble it rots and will cause an infection or an abcess at the least. Don't listen to me. I don't care.

Baking doesn't do shit but fuck up your gear and cause more problems because once you vent your gear as you bake it the BA vaporizes and leaves the vial no longer keeping the bacteria from growing. So you end up with an infection.
