Two Questions?

I have two questions, which I hope are not silly...

1) What happens if you forget to let the air out of a syringe before you inject? I've never done this I was just wondering.

2) What does it feel like when you hit a nerve while injecting? I had a shooting pain down my thigh after my last injection and my thigh got very tight at the bottom, just above the knee. I injected high and to the outside of the thigh.

1) Air will go to your heart or brain and can kill you...

1. Not a big deal unless you inject a lot of air.

2. You will definitely feel a sharp pain when injecting near a nerve. You might have just been close to nerve when you injected.

A little air won't hurt you.
I talked to a doctor about this and he said it takes about 3cc's of air to kill you. That's like injecting a syringe full of air. That's forgetting to fill the syringe.

The air won't harm you, you may have hit a nerve, more likly you just injected to close to one. I've hit a nerve in my thigh a few times the needle jumps then your muscle quivers for a few seconds.

not only do you have to inject 3cc's...you have to shoot them into a vein to kill you not muscle
