TV Shows you try and watch every week

Y_lifter

New member
I don't watch much TV and I don't even have cable, but there are a few shows I keep up with.
And unless If I'm out doing something important, I will try and watch them each week.

Monday Night Football
Boston Public
PBS NOVA
Survivor
Enterprise
CSI

Those of you that do watch TV, what shows do you make an effort to watch every week

Sports Center, The Simpsons and The Sapranos.

Ok I'm a geek....the ONLY prime time show I watch is the New season of Absolutely Fabulous on Comedy Central. Rest of the time its ESPN, CNN, History Channel, Discovery, or TLC.

CSI
Enterprise
X-Files
Sopranos (2nd season just finished here and with some love form a fellow cdn. board member, I will see 3rd season after Xmas)
Drew Carey
24
Simpsons
100 Centre Street
Malcom In The Middle
Pasadena

We tape all our shows and watch them when we can....these are ones hubby and I watch together, except Pasadena.....he ahs a few more he watches that I can't stand

It's about time he got out of those B Movies, although Freeway was way cool. He's been in suckville ever since Julia Roberts dumped his ass.

I think Boston Public is my new Fav..
Especially since Gerri (7 of 9) and her tight ass body joined the cast...

all three Law and Orders (CI, regular, sometime SUV)

100 Center Street (A&E)

Boston Public (7 of 9 is on there now! woohoo!)

OReilly (he gets on my nerves, but he has GREAT guests...Tom Clancy was on last month, e.g.)

The Simpsons, re-runs as well as current

Seinfeld...when I catch it after the Simpsons.

I rarely catch all these....

I rarely catch all these....need Tivo for boring Sunday TV.

TV is for losers that having nothing else better to do.

The shows mentioned above are the biggest waste of time. Don't get me wrong, I love Seinfeld, Friends too, but people that watch shows week after week are bored. Plain and simple.

What's up with all these office shows nowadays anyway? Who wants to go home from work, to watch Spin City??? Bored people, I can assure you.

I can name 101 things that are better to do than watch T.V.; unless you are talking about TLC, which kicks ass, or shows to that nature. Everything else is just to mask the boredom in your life... fill a void for problems... and what a great way to block out your children. Shhh... Honey, I'm watching T.V. right now, Rachel just broke her nail... I'll help you with your homework later.

T.V. is one of the worst things that happened to America, and it's families.

Well hell, If watching 5 or 6 hours of TV a week make me a Loser, then so be it.

At least I am very selective in what TV I watch instead of being glued in front of it all night, every night not knowing why I'm there.
Hence, the idea for this thread... peace

No Y, I'm not trying to bag on you, or your thread.

I watch T.V. too. It's usually 5 hours a week at most. I was referring to the families that work from 8-5, come home, say hi to the kids, and flop their asses down on the couch to watch their sitcoms, systematically placed out for the next 6 hour marathon of T.V. watching. My dad was the worst at this when I was a kid.
He'd be so zoned out, I could say anything... it wouldn't even phase him. Even during dinner time, he had the head chair, which conveniently faced direction of the T.V... not saying a word throughout dinner. I remember how that felt as a kid, and I promised myself that I wouldn't be like that when I was older.

Even now when I go over there, if I could bet someone $20 he was lying down on his couch, watching T.V.... I'd be a millionaire. Guy can go out and ride his bicycle for hundreds of miles, work mad hours...but when he's home, his ass is glued to the couch with the remote in hand.

I quit watching TV after The Dukes Of Hazzard was cancelled. I still catch it on TNN... but that is only if I am sick or somthing.

By far the best show ever to be on TV.
