Here are some things that you might want to look into if you're thinking about getting into questionable activities online. Its pretty basic but you would be surprised how many people still don't do this stuff. And the people who don't usually get fucked over in the end. And we don't want to see that happen to you guys now do we?
Ok first off, disable java in internet explorer. To do this go to (tools>internet options>security>custom>Microsoft VM*Disable Java). This will keep you safe from java tricks on sites that could get your ip even if you used a proxy.
Always use a proxy server when surfing forums where the main focus is illegal activity.
What is a proxy server you ask? Originally used by companies to speed up web browsing for its employees, they have evolved into something a little more useful for the home user. Stealth. A proxy server is simply another computer that accepts connections from the outside world and allows information to pass through it to you (such as web pages).
Ok now that we've got that settled. Lets move into wiping out everything that has been logging you. You want to get the program called evidence eliminator. There are a lot of impersonation cleaning utilities but this one seems to be constantly updated and more secure than the rest. So go to http://www.evidence-eliminator.com/ and download the trial version of it. If you like it and want to keep it longer you can order a serial number.
After you download and install the program. Set all of the settings so it works with your computer. Once this is all settled out you can choose one of three ways to clean out your system. Safe restart, safe shutdown, and test mode. I recommend doing a safe shutdown because it wipes out and secures more areas of your hard disk than the others. Also know that once EE is almost done cleaning your system up it will restart your computer so be sure to save files before it's done. I usually do it when I go out or go to sleep.
After EE is done working its magic you may notice a small speed up of your computer. This is because EE eliminated a bunch of files that windows needed to index before which took CPU usage. you'll also notice that you'll have a lot more room on your hard drive. But the most important thing is that all of the evidence the Feds / Po po would try to gather up and hammer you in the face with is permanently gone.
Also, if you have certain files that you do not want on your computer you can go out and grab yourself a Mini-CDRW at your local electronic store for a fair price. Burn all of your important files onto it and then stash it into a safe place. Somewhere where the authorities would not look.
