Turbo Hayabusa Video Clip!

I DONT THINK ITS FAKE. I'VE SEEN A FEW VIDEOS THAT WERE SIMILAR.

SOME FRIENDS OF MINE WHO STILL RIDE PUSH THEIR BIKES TO THE LIMIT EVERY WEEK. THEY REGULARLY HIT 190-200MPH ON TRICKED OUT BIKES. THEY PULL WHEEL STANDS AT SPEEDS WAY OVER 100MPH. ITS INSANE. I'D NVR GO THAT FUCKING FAST, OK, MAYBE I WILL ONE DAY WHEN I GET ANOTHER BIKE.

i didn't hear the waste gate on the top end one? whats that all about

no its not fake.
yeah i dont htink that top end one had the turbo...on it, because a stock hyabusa does 220.
I'll take my bike in the twisties anyday.

Oh wake up and smell the fart. That guy has fiddled with that speedometer. Or do you really think that everyone drives 90 mph with their cars, as in the first clip? Just look at the freeway clip with cars in it. The guy releases the throttle and it looks like every car around is going 80 to 90 miles per hour. Or do you guys have autobahns in USA?

I saved them both...just so that I could remind myself that there were people with crazier hobbies than I have...

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THOSE CLIPS ARE REAL? I SEE THAT SHIT ALL THE TIME FROM PEOPLE I USED TO RIDE WITH. I'VE ALSO SEEN VERY SIMILAR VIDEOS. IF YOU GO TO TEKADEMICS.COM, THERE IS A VIDEO OF A BUNCH OF IMPORT LOVERS. I'M NOT MUCH INTO IMPORTS BUT THEY HAVE A GUY ON A R-1 WHO DOES THE SAME SHIT.

That guy has admitted fiddling with the speedometers or something like that. I saw a video with some 1100 cc Honda doing a bit over 300 km/h (a little under 190 mp/h) and everything looked unreal. That really looked like 300 km/h. The second Hayabusa clip isn't anything like that. You can see the center lines still when the bike is doing like 60 000 mp/h. I try to find you a link tomorrow about that clip and those speedometers.

I AGREE THAT SPEEDOMETER IS OFF A LITTLE. ITS MECHANICAL, IT WILL BE OFF NO MATTER WHAT. IF IT WAS DIGITAL, I'D BELIEVE IT MORE. I'M SURE WAS DOING NO LESS THAN 200 MPH THOUGH. HIS SPEEDOMETER WAS BURIED WAY PAST 220.

im pretty sure the first clip was fake
i mean did you see him fill that thing up? no way he can do it that fast.

btw bikes are cool... if you're not cool enough to drive cars

those are not fake, they have a yellowbox installed with that turbo busa. the speedometer reading is correct, he has to "twiddle" with the speedometer in order to give it a correct reading, when you make mods to a bike, the speedometer becomes uncalibrated, so to get the correct reading you have to install someting like a yellow box, or a black box to give you the correct reading.
That is the actual speed.
But what do i know right...

Ok. So you're right and an average American drives 90 mp/h on the freeway ALL THE TIME.

FROM MY EXPERIENCES ON FREEWAYS AND ON THE INTERSTATES DOWN HERE, I THINK THAT PEOPLE DRIVE CLOSE TO THAT. IF YOU ARE DOING 75-80MPH ON THE INTERSTATE HERE, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY BE PASSED UP BY QUITE A FEW CARS.

Your argument makes no sense, post something logical. Its all symantics my friend.

if he doesnot have a yellow box installed, he'd be doing about 8% less than what is posted on his speedo.
but I could tell you i know for a fact that its calibrated correctly.

hate to tell you boys, but i've been riding and selling street bikes for YEARS, the stock busa will NOT go anywhere close to 220mph on a radar gun, their speedo may say that, but its WAY off at those speeds, 189mph was the fastest any of the cycle mags clocked it stock, and yes, wheel stands are possible at over 130, my gsxr1000 will do a power wheelie at 125mph, no clutch, just throttle.

that top end clip doesn't EVEN look to be the acceleration and top end speed shown on the speedometer. 220mph...yeah right. no way. isn't it 170mph when the dotted line the lanes turns into a solid white stripe? to me he looks like he's going in the neighboorhood of 150mph. i'm not doubting the capabilities of the bike...it's just doesn't look right on this clip.
