Tuna question

-BosS-

New member
I was just wondering if it made a difference if I just ate tuna and protien shakes all day rather than tuna and steaks and chicken and eggs. Only because all that other crap gets expensive after awhile and you have to prepare them. Tuna is high protien low fat, you just open the can a eat and it's cheap as hell. It dont matter protien is protein right?

"protein is protein"

Acually that's not quite true, because there are complete proteins and incompelete proteins, also your body uses a certain percentage of the protein in foods. For Example, eggs have complete protein, and your body uses 94 percent of the protein in it. While other foods might have protein grams, but your body might only use 75 percent of it. But Tuna, and any fish in general are very high quality proteins, and its much better to get your protein from food than shakes, I only believe that protein shakes are beneficial post work out.

yeah, thanks wise ass.

notice he was comparing "tuna and protien shakes" to "tuna and steaks and chicken and eggs".

were he comparing tuna, shakes, chicken, and eggs to kidney beans, asparagus, and green peas then yes, what you said would be relevant...
