Tums, and other antacids and effect on 17AA

i have been getting crippleing heart burn for some time now, and eat a ton of tums. im also on anavar right now. it does say on the bottle of tums that you shouldnt take any meds within 2 hours of the tums.

Does anyone know if there is a large loss of absorbtion of 17AA drugs if used with tums?
right now im on 80mg of var with insane results, but i do try not to take the tums close to my var intake.

Tums are just Calcium Carbonate - they usually do not interfere with the metabolism of most drugs, just a few (gabapentin for example). It's Magnesium/Aluminum (Maalox) antacids that you should use caution with when administering other drugs since these can interfere with the drug metabolism. Oxandrolone metabolism however is not affected by buffering agents; although drugs (lipid/triglyceride drugs, nicotine, glucocorticoids, contraceptives, etc) that alter cytochrome p450 3a4 concentrations might interfere.

BTW, Tums do not aid in acidocis, they just mask some of the symptoms by buffering the acidity that's why you're taking them 24/7 :o

wow, thank for the reply, very helpfull. is there any OTC aids that can help with my problems, or do i have to go see my doc? thanks again. k your way

liquid chlorophyl

get it at a healthfood store
i'm actually serious bro its like drinking ice, just keep it in the fridge, also maybe add some aloe juice

not paper var, im using peru tech. but its not the var tahts causing the burn. ive had this on and off for about a year. i think thermorexin makes it worse. but the results i get from t-trex are so good, its worth the pain
