I really like training but I have seemed to be at a
platu for like the past two years now. Now I am ready
to try to make some headway. I've tried training with
heavy weights, light weights, hi-reps, low-reps and
body for life without seeing a whole lot of change.
I'm about ready to give up on ever being able to make
any change. If I didn't just simply love the way I
feel after a good workout, I would have given up a
long time ago. I look pretty good
with clothes on, but I'd like to look more like those
fitness women with my clothes off
My body seems real resistant to change. I'd like to
gain some more muscular size but I can't seem to. Is
there any specific routine you'd recommend? I saw something about HIT in the training group. Has anyone used that with good results.
Also, I've been doing body-pump for the last couple of
moths (have you heard of it). I enjoy the class and
it sure seems to make my workouts go faster, but I
wonder if I am wasting my time doing those?
I am also confussed about protein supplements. Is it a must have or a waste of money. Some say you need 1 gram per body weight others say you get enough through your normal diet. (See why I'm confussed)
Love to talk to anyone who might be able to help.
