Think the reserve will be to high. I bid it up to $9100 and going to strt bidding again here in a few minutes. If what the seller says is true it's worth 18K or so. I'll give him 10K maybe.

Didn't get it but I'm going to try and see if this guy will sell it to me for a "reasonable amount". LOL.

Yes I want to screw him, let's see how bad he wants to get rid of it. He did a lot of leg work and the main parts are in place.

If not I'll keep an eye on Ebay. He's retired and moving to Fla. Wants to get rid of his tools, lift etc. Where he's going doesn't have room for a work shop. Probably a condo.

Ebay is always scary but it looks like a winter project. 3k for a paint job maybe 5K put aside for parts and professional help if needed. End result a 20K convertible car. Not like I want to drive it every day.
