Tried cleans and front squats today.
with the front squats, the bar hurts my front shoulder area whenever I squat down, just when i squat down. I have to rerack and try again before the pain were to get too bad. and no it's not that I have to get used to the bar lying on the muscles..it's only in my right shoulder and it's a tiny pain inside of the shoulder, like it's a rotator cuff problem, but i'm really not sure. Anybody ever have this?
Okay with Cleans...I think I'm doing them right. I'm not totally coordinated with it so sometimes it might be too far away from my body or too close to my body (bounces off of my belly or my thighs because I kind of slam it into them to make sure i keep the bar close..) on the way up. I also don't have any coaches to help me and I don't trust school coaches because they encourage half squats. Is my best bet to just keep doing them over and over until I get them pretty down and then when i stall out look for what is wrong with my form and try to better it?
