TRT bad sides

Oxbow

New member
Hey guys,
I would like to know all the bad sides Testosterone Remplacement Therapy can have. Maybe I will put me on TRT after 40.

What I know :

- Constraint for life(1 or 2 pinning per week)
- Infertility possible (no LH/FSH)
- IF DOSAGE TOO HIGH : All the sides we know (High oestrogen/bad cholesterol/High Blood Pressure/Hair Loss/etc.)
- Can be expensive if you have to pay for it
- Shrinked Balls

Is that list complete ?

I am on TRT and your typical dosage from a Dr. will be 1 1/2 cc per week or every other week depending on your Test levels when they do your labs. You will get a script for Watson Test Cypionate. Now,if you have insurance and they are willing to cover it, then you will be responsible for your co-pay. The insurance companies will not cover it if your test levels are over 300 period. If you do not have insurance you can go to Cotsco and get a 10ml vial of Test Cypionate Watson for $137.00. IMO there are no negative sides to this and will increase your quality of life.

Thank you for the answer. Testosterone tends to decline when aging.

Two questions : if you are young on trt and do a cycle, you don't need pct so you can keep all your gains ?
And are the bad sides I've mentionned in my first post right or wrong ?

thks

I have not experienced any however I do not run high dosed cycles. Anything in excess will cause sides etc: Keep your doses at 250 or 300 per week and you will be fine. You do not need PCT on TRT and you will need to keep your test levels between 800 and 1000 is optimal on TRT. You need to have blood work done every 6 to 8 weeks in the beginning to monitor your levels and when you find your sweet spot then you can just cruise from there. Your TRT Dr. will do bloods automatically so you do not have to worry about this.

Why do you feel the need you have to cycle? If your old enough to be on TRT and have any lifting experience under your belt you should already have a solid foundation. You will have year round test levels in the 700-1000 range why bring about added sides from cranking up the dose? If you cant make slow steady gains year round then you need to work on your diet and/or routine.
