Triple Threat 3/60

I just bought the Chocolate flavored Triple Threat 3/60 (of course if i waited a few days I would have caught the sale). But one thing I noticed is that it tastes really salty. I used Isopure Vanilla before this and never noticed any salty taste with that.

Is anyone else using the Chocolate Triple Threat and it's salty tasting? Or is it just me?

Also, I would be much more apt to purchase it again if the bucket had a nutritional label on it. Having an accompanying piece of paper with some information doesn't really cut it for me. What about an ingredients list? At least if there was a list of ingredients I might know that salt was added or something. Not that having it makes a big difference to me, but it's nice to know exactly what I'm ingesting.

If George is listening, I think it would be much more beneficial to Mass Quantities' image to have labeled containers with comprehensive information about what's inside. It would boost my confidence in the product MUCH more. Right now I'm hesitant to spend any more money on goods from Mass Quantities, especially on anything other than a simple MRP.

Lots of people who've bought Triple Threat repeatedly have reported varying tastes between batches. One will be extra sweet, one will be a bit salty, one will taste fattier, et cetera. The fact that it contains aspertame and that the manufacturer can't seem to get a consistent mix has stopped me from buying it, but when/if they get on the ball, I certainly will. Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

I bought the triple threat vanilla and had to through it out - too sweet - even when I added to my oatmeal it tasted nasty. Had to through half of it out. I would never buy that stuff again. I stick to the protein mixes the protein factory sells - way much cheaper than what they advertise in the magazines and they have mixes for everything.

THis is similar to my experience. I have donated some money and one of the MOD's (Cornholio) will be monitoring an independent lab test of the latest "batch". Some have complained that there is alot more carbs (sugar) than the "peice of paper nutritional label" claims.

I have been trying to support the boards by buying this stuff but unless there is a dramatic, rapid turnaround I will not be able to justify it.

got the powder today - still 50 short on the testing costs....

MQ said that my product was shipped yesterday )3 buckets of vanilla). What happened to the loser that was putting up the $50?

I think that $80 on my part is pretty generous - anyone else interested in kicking in some $$$???

triple threat tastes like crap. i bought it and it came in a ghetto bucket and gave me really bad gas. i didn't even finish it, it's just sitting in my kitched collecting dust.
