I believe (if this is the same guy) he was a mod on triedia after Roiddoc left, and had no clue about the whole roiddoc situation until it was brought up here at EF. So I guess he doesn't like it when people talk about about it.

From what I hear there are hardly any current members, the URL is not on any search engines, and makes the site worthless.
You can buy your own domain name, set up a board, make a post on here, and you will be in the same situation, and you would save yourself $1800.

Actually I've been a mod at triedia for about a year, both before and after Roiddoc. I really shouldn't get mad when people attack the board since it usually happens because they are misinformed or for whatever reason get into the whole board rivarly thing.

I've never had anything to do with Roiddoc (other than moderating the board that he owned but wasn't really involved in) or any scammers and I do bristle a bit when people imply that I'm somehow a scammer just by virtue of the fact that I am/was a moderator there.

I'm sorry that people got scammed from sources they learned about through triedia or any other board for that matter, but nobody can prevent that from happening. I stay out of the whole source scene since when mods do try to help people in that area they often end up getting blamed if things don't turn out well, which often happens and is out of the mod's control.

I don't know why triedia is down but I hope it comes back up soon.

I always thought that Trevdog1 was and is a good guy. Hes helped a lot of people with his posts, especially in legal areas. There were many, many good bros on Triedia as well as a few scammers and otherwise assholes. As far as I'm concerned all your points are valid.
