Tribulus + DHEA Questions for PCT

Hey all...

I'm in my 4th week of PCT on Clomid, almost done. My sex drive is completely dead and has been for weeks so members here suggested adding some Tribulus. Well I have 4 bottles of this stuff called Tribulus Fuel Stack. Each cap has 625mg Tribulus and 12.5mg of DHEA.

First off, what is DHEA? Secondly, why do the directions say not to take if you are under 40 years of age? (I'm 27)

Finally, how much should I be taking per day to help me out? I'm taking 3 caps per day in the morning. Is that too much? Is that the right time? Thanks in advance!

IMO you REALLY need bloodwork done to figure out why your drive is that low. You're merely taking shots in the dark at this point.

Go here to order a bloodtest for 150 dollars:
http://www.powermedica.com

BTW, I've read that DHEA supplementation can be suppressive. I'd avoid it. Twinlab sells Tribulus without DHEA as well.

Tribulus, Avena and Maca are great, but you really need to figure out what's up via a blood test.

Hey Evolution can I just go to my local doc and say I took some pro hormones and that my sex drive is dead and ask for a blood test for test levels? Do you think that would fly? It would be only 60 bucks vs the 150 from Powermedica. Thanks!

Anyone think my excuse would be cool? I wouldn't want to just tell him the truth because of it getting back to my work through my insurance. Does anyone know if I tell my doc the truth about my cycle, will he notify the insurance company of the reason I'm visiting? And then, wouldn't the insurance company notify my place of work?

There's no feedback mechanism on DHEA.

It decreases cortisol.

Its an indirect precursor to test.

go over to the anafit store and pick up some P7. It will be better than oral DHEA. It pushes the equillibrium toward high amnts of DHEA.

Macro's pretty smart.

More advice containing indiscriminate drug use with NO IDEA what his blood levels look like. This is not good advice.

HE NEEDS BLOODWORK DONE TO GET A PICTURE OF WHAT IS GOING ON. Otherwise it's all guess work.

Have your blood work done. It definitely worth your time. It's always best to know exactly what's going on. Guessing may hurt you more in the long run.

Best of Luck.

Dude, I have no idea what excuse would fly with your doc. But what screw around at this point? Get the bloodwork done, figure out what's wrong and fix it. Until you get the bloodwork done you're just taking uneducated guesses.

what did I say, exactly, that costitutes "indiscriminate drug use".

I didnt say dont get blood work, did I?

I simply said to try out P7.

You don't have to say anyting to your doctor except you think your test level is low and almost certainly the doctor would order a test
