Tri workouts for strength????help???

Hey sup guys, alot of people do certain tri workouts, but alot of them never really work for strength. I've been told the best strength tri workouts are Parallel Dips 3 sets by failure. I also like to use close grip bench, hands about 5 inches apart in the middle of the bar. What tri excercises do you guys use that helps your strength go up???( name of it, explanation, sets*reps)Thanx for the help(if i get any)

Close grips first, then skull crushers, then some shaping shit. These first two are imperative. Watch elbows on skulls, always keep them in, use good form-duhhh.

For strenght DB skullcrushers palms facing for 4-8 reps 40-60 total reps so 7sets of 6. For strenght gain on any exercise its good to use low reps. But if your looking for size go 8-12

I like the french press myself. i like to do them slow while im seated.

seated french press is great. i do those, skullcrushers, pushdowns and dips for tris. seems to work well for me

outer

What is the best exercise for outer horseshoe? I usually do bench dips to failure at the end of my triceps workout, and my inner tri's are decent sized, but outer could use some work.

Skull crush and close crip bench doing 4 sets of 10,8,6,4 reps worked bext for me when my tri's were lagging strenghtwise

weighted 1/4 dips , Tate presses , flat bench dumbell extensions, elbows out pushdowns , close grip bench , close grip incline press . Some of my favorites.

u all are forgetting one of the greatest strength gainers for triceps. reverse grip bench press is great for tricep strength, and close grip is really good to. i wouldnt say skull crushers are great for overall strength since it is an isolation movement. for strength i would go with compound movements.

1)skull crushers by pyramids seem too not work for me.
2)what are decline DB extensions, sets*reps how many
3)what are DB skullcrushers palm facing
4)what's a french press.
5)weighted 1/4 dips??????
6)reverse bench would that work if i also did it on an incline position b/c i've tried that a few times and have been soar for two days after.
Thanx. hope too here replys I normally keep the dips for the very last thing I know it's more of a burn out for the tri's.

For pure Tricep strength, you're already doing the best exercises:

Dips
Close Grip Bench

If you are going for PURE strength then I'd do the following:

Weighted Dips:
3-5 reps, 5 sets, 2 minute rest between sets, lower 3 seconds, pause for 1 second at the bottom, 2 seconds coming up

Close Grip Bench:
Weighted Dips:
3-5 reps, 5 sets, 2 minute rest between sets, lower 3 seconds, pause for 1 second at the bottom, 2 seconds coming up

Reasoning:
lower reps for strength
5 sets because the lower the reps, the more sets required to trash the muscle
adequate rest between sets to recover
slow and controlled tempo to get the most out of the movement through good form and new stimulus

Most people don't pay attention to tempo, but it really does make a difference. For example a guy who does rows like he's starting a lawn mower will be lifting the weight for 10 seconds. Then a guy who slows down the movement, and it takes him 35 seconds. They did the same amount of reps, but the time under tension was very different. So there will be a different training effect.

Good luck

Close grip bench presses

Dbell Pause Presses, lying on the floor

Standing Overhead Barbell Extensions (Free or Smith)

Weighted Dips

Good Luck bro
