Treo 650 Smartphone

I gotta get me one of those things, they are slicker than goose shit. The thing is they are coming out with a new Treo that has broadband early next year, instead of the wireless dialup that my neighbor has to use. Turns out if I scrapped my cell phone and cable internet I would save money each month by just having a Treo. Who here has one of these devices and how do you like it?

i currently have the audiovox ppc-6600 through sprint. i am addicted to it. the internet download speed is fast. slower than home but still extremely fast for a PDA. i love it. cost me $629 but well worth it.

my neighbors treo cost 4 bills, but its badass and does everything you can think of. I didnt even know shit like this existed until he showed me lol.

yup. the 6600 is the next model up. it has everything. i love it..

im not sure about the treo. i know mine has windows on it. its like a mini computer. i can hook mine up to the internet and then hook up the laptop. but not sure about the treo. look on ebay. the 6600 is only like $400 on there. i bought mine brand new from sprint. couldnt wait any longer.

I have a Treo 650 and use it all the time. The new Treo 700 will have Microsoft installed. I love the Treo.

The 700 must be the new model with broadband capabilities. And microsoft, flippin sweet. When will this be available and for how much?

ive had the treo 600 since it came out.. about 2 years?? i upgraded it to the 650 when it came out but i had nothing but problem after problem w/ it and after 3 650's i just went back to the 600.. was skeptical about the audiovox b/c i dont know how well their stuff is but the new audiovox slider (side slider) not up and down slider looks badass.. might have to check it out when its not 600 bucks

yea i saw the 6700 right after i bought the 6600. oh well. but i love the 6600 so far. i had it for 2 weeks now. cant put it down.

i dont use bluetooth so the 600 is a little bit smaller then the 650 so i like that.. not that either phones r small for a phone but very compact for a PDA.. i liked the video camera function on it but other then that its the exact phone..

600 seems to have less glitches then the 650 or i just have bad luck w/ the 650.. check this site out and compare them side to side

fuck, I dont even remember except that Im paying $65 a month and am sick and tired of getting constant drops and roaming charges when Im in the center of my coverage area. Plan was signed well over a year ago so Im sure its for shit now.

set your phone to not allow roaming. i used to have the same problem but i selected the option on my phone not to roam. but i think sprint has free roaming now. they made a lot of changes since they teamed up with nextel. i pay $79 a month and get 800 minutes with free nights and weekends and free incomming calls. also free mobile to mobile to sprint or nextel.

It's going to be called the 670 w/Cingular, and they have it slated for early December. New Microsoft OS, and 3G or UMTS fastest wireless speeds availiable. There's a Cingular Store right next to one of my lots......after 3 failed 650's, I am now using a Blackberry 7100G.......which also sucks ass (is supposed to rock my e-mail so much faster, but alas it is poo). I will be trying the HP when it comes out in a few months....and if the rep can talk me into it, I'll be giving the ol' 670 a spin in December.

The 650's have had serious, serious problems. I was all for getting one until I did some research on them.

Verizon is really good here in Texas atleast, I've had all of them and Verizon has been the best by far.
