Tren, IGF-1 and estrogen?

ebear

New member
Getting ready for my first Tren cycle (Tren E and Test E). A while ago, I saw a profile of Tren E (in a German magazine) and was a bit perplexed by one aspect they mentioned. Specifically, that when combining these two (test & tren), it is recommended NOT to use an aromatase blocker because suppressing estrogen will reduce the boost in IGF-1, and thereby lessen the very positive effects of IGF-1.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I was planning on running AIFM concurrently, plus some Proviron (which I use year-round anyway).

Bear, how high are you going to run the tren and test? At low dose, you probably won't have any bad sides. Leave out the e-blocker until the end of the cycle.

i have read that nolvadex reduces IGF-1 levels (to what extent i do not know) but i have not heard or read that AI's reduce IGF-1 levels

I was on a test/tren/winny cycle last winter and only used about .25 -.5mg ed of adex and I blew up like a son of a bitch. I hate not being able to bend over a tie my shoes without getting out of breathe and red in the face. I would rather have leaner/lesser more 'real' gains and use more of an ant-e or aromatase or whatever you wanna use.

I was on about 500mg ew of test e
400mg ew of tren and then the last 5 weeks i used winny at 75mg ed

As a tren first-timer, I'm going to take a fairly conservative approach: 200 tren E weekly, 250 test E every 4-5 days. Will also run Proviron. It's the AIFM I'm not so sure about.

Yeah, same here. And since tren apparently boosts IGF-1 significantly, I'd hate to sabotage that.

Tren does boost igf-1 significantly, more than any other as.My experience is with tren acetate. LOVE IT!! as do many other members. Your 200mg weekly is such a low dose I wouldn't worry about using an anti e that may reduce your igf-1 production. You also might contact Ulter, I'm sure he knows how AIFM might effect igf-1

Yeah, I'm REALLY looking forward to it - despite being a bit nervous about the sides.

Actually, because my tren E dose is going to be that low, I'd hate to stifle the increased IFG-1 boost by using AIFM, or Proviron for that matter. I'll PM Ulter and ask him to chime in.

I have not seen the paper that supports that statement. However, since you're taking test with the tren E it really doesn't matter. There will be enough E left over even with an AI.

Thanks :)
