transferring the oil

have a big question:

what is the procedure for transfering the filtered gear from a filter unit into a sterile vial
the way i have been doin this is by capping the lower receiver flask with a open top cap and silicon septa and drew up the oil through a 21g pin and shoot straight into vial with a 25g pin to vent.

however noticed inavials a few particles of rubber floating around in solution, guessing from when im peircing the silicone from reviever unit.

anyone else have a better solution for clean and easy transfering.

The only other way to do it is to have a vial crimping tool and putting your own
caps on after transfer. Big gauge pins can tear the runbber stopper if not careful.

i do however have a crimper, caps rubbers ect and unsealed vials just neve thought of using them

are you saying sterilize the vials , and withdraw 10ml from the lower receiver with a syringe and shoot straight into vial then seal?

surely particles of air ect will come into contact?

or if to do the other way what size pin would you use to draw from the receive with through the septa without rubber flaking?
21g? although i dont want to be sitting there for ages trying to draw through a small guage

You are being too worrysome about all this. Just get yourself a 60ml syringe. Don't srcew a needle tip on it yet. Stick the 60ml syringe into the container you have your filtered product in and draw up all 60ml. Now screw on an 18ga tip onto the 60ml syringe. Next, put a 25ga tip only in your individual sealed vials as a vent. Then jam the 18ga needle into the same vials and fill. No big deal. Stop worrying about sterility, you will be fine.
