Transdermal Test Boosters vs Androgel/Testosterone Gel?

Transdermal Test Boosters seem to be the thing to use right now. Do they actually work? Has anyone compared them to something like androgel or testim (which I know work, personally). Just wondering if anyone has tried both and if they're comparable. My doctor won't prescribe me androgel anymore and I'm looking for a substitute.

ive had great results with androgel personally. i use the 1.62% and two pumps daily.
