Training with injury

I have shoulder tendonitis, that i am working through (it is getting better as i work through it). The problem is that the only chest exercize i can do is dumbell bench. I cant do inclines or flyes etc.. If this continues for another couple of months will this hurt my gains? And should i make up for the lack of other chest exercizes by doing more sets of dumbell presses?

You need to train your rotators as best as you can. Bring up your weak points. I know that you probably may find this strange...but go to www.jumpstretch.com and buy a pair of the mini-bands asap. Use them as much as possible...will greatly help with recoup.

You can do side laterals, bent laterals, front laterals, rotators, etc....and they are all therapeutic I believe. I recently had a bi injury and can attest that the use of the mini bands really helped.

My father went for physical therapy a few months back for his knee and they gave him some bands to train with. Strange how they work.
