Training on steroids + cycle.......?

Hi bro`s!

I will compete soon, but want to put on some real size now when my contest day is over, (hate dieting!!)

Will do:
750mg/week test enenthate week 1-10
200mg/week deca D week 1-10
100mg winstrol orally ed week 1-5

PCT

MY TRAINING:

I have regulary used HIT (Yates) training, using 2 BAD ASS sets for each bodypart...

Is this training philosophy effective whilst on steroids?

I`d like to think so, because Dorian trained that way, and he DEFINETLY used da roids:)
 
I personally think that type of training is utter bullshit myself.You have to realise that even though they only count the last one or two sets as work sets,a lot of the other sets they do will still stimulate the muscle enough for it to grow.So the one or two sets crap that they spout off about isn't quite true.
Also,I know Dorian has extreme genetics etc.,but using the stuff that he was using,he would grow on any type of workout.Now don't get me wrong,I'm not saying he's only that big because of the stuff that he uses,far from it,'cos I know Dorian was one of the hardest training bodybuilder's of all time!!!!!
 
I would up that deca to 300 and drop the winny to around 50mg daily.

As for the training, it works. No doubt about it. You see people doing all those routines from the mags, and there's all these people who juice these days, but how many big people do you see walking around? Most of the time it's those 'pro' routines and nutrition. I'm not saying HIT/Heavy Duty etc is for everyone, but it does work.

I would look into using some of the more advanced methods while on though. Things like slow negatives, static holds, forced reps, etc. I think Dorian still has a site up which offers some good free routines, and advice. Do a google search for it.
 
Training, like everything else, is genetically dependent. Some will thrive with hiit training, while others will shrink. I need moderate volume to grow and some bodyparts, like my back, need high volume to grow.
 
Correct me if im wrong here guys but i always thought that bodybuilding was about lifting wieghts none of that super set or drop set shit....thats ok if you want to try some thing different....but isnt the rules the stonger you are the bigger you will be cant see anything wrong with two work sets done in good form with the heaviest weight possible

everyone is different my man, I have used that form of training and seen decent results, but I see much better results with using a regular 3-4 set per exercise routine, along with drop-sets and super-sets, which I even include while bulking.

I just wondered whether the training system would stimulate the muscle enough for the steroids to work:)

Ask yourself this, is your goal to fatigue the muscle or move the weight stack or do the next rep.

Hopefully you want to fatigue the muscle and let it grow. Therefore you must work to utter failure and then gets lots of rest. Failure meaning if I have a knife at your throat you can not move that weight and remember if you can still push or pull without the weight moving then you are still working it.

Go heavy and get lots of rest between workouts.

Too many people dont know what failure really is.

OH BTW - never try to convince somebody that HIT is the way to go LOL. just keep it to yourself if it works for you. I have been at it now for 6 years.

HIT gives you true functional strength that does not go away if you skip a work-out here and there.

Train for strength not for "pump"

If you don't think too much of drop sets try a triple drop set on squats or leg presses next leg day. Three of those will kick your ass and help you grow!
