Normally I think Denzel really blows,but he's bad ass in this flick.It's on right now.

When I first saw I thought that denzel was seriously over acting. I thought his charactor was just not believable. But I don't know anything about acting so my opinion realy counts as nothing.

Good movie but I wouldn't watch it more than once. I wouldn't say he deserves an award for it, just because it's a departure from his normal acting roles the media made a big deal. Scarry flick, a little on the far fetched side but good. My personal fav movies are Heat,Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas and The Usual Suspects.

Yea, it was a good movie. I thought the the fight scene at the end took away from the movie's credibility. It wasnt at all believable.

And about the oscar... The media screeming that the oscer's were racist definitely helped Denzel's chances

I liked A beautiful mind as well, but not that much. I just must not have been in the mood or something

Was a great movie. A couple of things though . . . I would have taken the money and shut up. At the end the bloods would have killed denzel and the other guy and taken the money.

Also Denzel is the last person I would have thought could pull off that role. But then again, who the fuck would've thought Edward Norton would be good in American History X

Training Day is a solid 9 on a 1-10 scale. Maybe even a 9.3-9.5. Great acting, Great plot, etc. Action, Drama, something to satisfy everyone. I definitely would have been "comfortable" to take the $$$ when Denzel offered him $250k.

Heat was good, I've never seen F&L in LV except for a shitty dubbed copy while crazily high, so I could barely hear what they were saying. I definitely want to see it again though. And The Usual Suspects is Top 25 all-time material. A 9.5-9.9 out of 10.
