trailor parks

I had a friend who moved into his brothers. Grossest thing I have ever set foot in. Had no running water. The bath tub was full of one gallon water jugs filled with piss. Almost urled when I caught a whiff. I think it was condemned shortly after. Another friend I knew had a nice double wide. Looked like a friggin house inside. She was a slut.

that is what is thought about them, i guess it is true, there has to be a few nice parks?

haha piss in a jug
why piss out side?

plus im sure that they have rules about pissing out side. sanitary reasons. my troubled co-worker lives in a trailer with two teenage kids and a dog but he keeps it neat.

Around here, there aren't that many nice trailer parks. The ones full of trailers that are for rent seem to be the lowest quality.

Then you have the places where someone rents out spaces, and people own thier own trailer, thats a step up, because as usual, there is ownership and people tend to take better care of thier own possessions than rented stuff.

However, sometimes you'll see a trailer on its own piece of land, not in a trailer park. Those are usually the nicest, because they also usually own the land.

Of course you can almost stratitfy thier income in those levels too, going from lowest to highest.

There are a few nice trailer parks around here. A couple are retirement communities though so it's all old people. I grew up in a trailer that is on 6 acres of land. The one thing I miss is the solitude of it. Being able to walk out and see stars and a sunset was nice. Plus I had all kinds of woods to explore when I was a kid. But I will never live in one again. My parents have fixed theirs up really well. Their master bath would put some mansions bathroom to shame. It has a shower with 6 showerheads pand a whirlpool tub. Everything is very expensive tile b/c my dad owns his own tile company. Plua the thing is over 2,000 sq ft so it's by no means small

there was one when i lived in fort. lauderdale forgot the name, i think it was silver oaks or something, anyway i knew a kid(19ish) who lived there. the place was huuuge, like massivegunz, anyway there were actually seperate gangs that were established in it.

There is a show on the Travel Channel that is about the most expensive trailer parks.

Some of them are on land that was zoned in the 50s and is now in a high dollar area, so now they are like $400,000 trailers there (although you can barely recognize that the structure used to be a mobile home, but the zoning requires them to still have axles under them).

Trailer capital of the world is SC.

I've seen single wides, double wides, triple wides, two story mobile homes(for rich folks).

One thing about it...you can do all kinds of improvements and add-ons to a trailer but you still have a trailer.

Tornado magnets too.

fking trailor... good lord, if you can't afford a house, what's wrong with an appartment?

in Greater London (everywhere within 30 miles of London) the average trailer home costs £80-150k.. that's about what a 3 bedroom house cost 10 years ago, or about 4 x national average earnings... we are fucked with housing.....

waste of money since you'll never own them. plus, the rent and cost of living will keep on going up while your income stays the same or slighty goes up

Much Like a car, Manuf housing loses equity, vs gaining it as a Standard house would...

Saying that, I have visited a double wide and once inside, you could hardly tell you were in a trailer home at all.

Better than an Apartment for those that can't afford or have no credit to but a house on a lot..

I dated a girl that lived in a doublewide with her family. This was back when I was like 19 or so. It was ok I guess. Bigger than some apartments that I've lived in since then.

Because homes are scarce and expensive in the South of England.... canal boats have become popular.. if ytou thought trailer park (mobile homes) were rotten, you should see some of the skanky canal boats that some people choose to live in....

In Central London, a rented canal boat birth costs nearly £100 per week..... how did living become so expensive?

Years ago my friend kept asking me to invest in trailer parks. You either buy the trailer(s) or the land... I forget. The rental income seemed pretty good, but I had a hard time convincing myself we would get paid on time for the rent.

I never looked further into it.

I've known some very good folks that live in trailor homes.

Some people in trailors epitomize the white trash stereotype, but at least as many are painfully, acutely aware of how they're viewed by others in society. The rest just blow off whatever anybody else thinks and go ahead with living their lives free of a mortgage or being tied down to one spot or whatever.

First place my ex-wife and I lived in was a single-wide trailer in a really bad trailer park. The opitomy of trailer trash lived there.
We actually had it towed to a "nice" trailer park about 5-7 miles away.

After we moved for me to attend college, we lived in another single-wide, but this time with her parents. (Nice park, more like a neighborhood and her parents are super cool.)

That was the last one. My current wife has made it abundantly clear that we will never, EVER, live in a trailer.:D
