tracking # question

I ordered a research chemical from a repuatable company. the delivery the time before was very fast and this time was taking a bit longer. I e-mailed the company making sure all the info was correct. They said it was and was mailed out and I should be receiving any day now. I received a tracking # from them. When I went to the UPS web site, and entered the #, they said it they had no record of it but that if it was mailed recently, that that might be why. Does this sound normal?
 
yes.......because the only way it'd show up right away is if it was taken directly to the post office and paid for at the counter.

When it's drop mailed (assuming it's just delivery confirmation), you don't see any record till it arrives at your doorstep.
 
thats the case with usps but he sais ups.i believe ups packages are scanned at the counter or by the driver when they are picked up from the drop box,ups store ect
 
I have that problem with USPS and their tracking numbers. I usually dont get anything until its been delivered to the local post office.
 
ups is always updated as soon as they picjk up...usps usually takes a day or 2 after to show up
 
90 % of my business depends upon UPS those fokers sometimes drag a normal 3 delivery to almost a week.

I`m glad I`m not the only one. I sent an OVERNIGHT Express mail from USPS this morning at 9:30 AM. They said it would be there LATEST Monday 3:00PM I did`nt get anything on tracking yet (6PM) I figured at least it would say first swipe "FROM" location.

By the time they do give me a track (Monday), It will be there already. lol
