Toys For Tots

For those looking to do something nice for others this year please look into giving to the Marine Corps toys for tots program. They do a wonderful job of getting toys to children who might otherwise not get anything for Christmas. It's a great program that really helps those in need.

You can even give online, if you don't want to shop. :santa2: :santa2:

Toys for Tots is a great program. My two girls gather up toys that they have outgrown and take to the local womens protective shelter and also to the day care facilities for underprivileged kids. This not only helps out the kids that have very little, but gives my kids a greater understanding of the "real world".

I'd rather give to a good cause like that, than risk giving money to those bell-ringers outside of all the damn grocery stores during the holidays. You have no clue where that money ends up.

Good Post bro!!!

I like toys! Toys for Tots is great :jackbox:

What kind of toys do you have?

;)

If any of you do decide to give, don't forget the older kids. They always get lots of teddy bears and stuffed toys, but sometimes they don't get enough for the older ones.

But I still always manage to find a couple bears to go with the other stuff. :)

Good Post bro!!!

I saw one of those Salvation Army bell ringers the day before Thanksgiving and I swear the dude was on meth. He was ringing that bell like a madman, nonstop, and greeting people almost aggressively when they were still 20 feet away. :FRlol:

Mr. Gloom and Doom...:)

Local church's can provide lists of needy familes in your area.Your company/co-worker's can "adopt" these families during the holiday season.

Collect toys, food, funds from co-worker's and donate these items to the "adopted" family.

I totally support Toys For Tots and all the motorcycle riders do a parade and have a big party for the Toys For Tots Run all it takes to attend is a toy and 5 bucks. Great cause.

We had our toy drive at the gym today and we collected a big box of toys. It makes you feel good to help others.
