I am at work not evacuated but the 401 is closed which happens to be they busyest strech oh highway in the whole dam city.
Reported that is but I am sure there will be somechefbone said:No casualties.

No casualties, less than 50 injured of 309 people onboard, all of those minor. SO lucky.. unbelievable. That fire was no joke.
That airport is 15 minutes from my house. And the weather was insane at that time, it's surprising they were letting them land actually. I was just out getting groceries and I thought I wasn't going to make it to my car, big nasty hail-storm and the wind, crazy.
I'm so glad everyone made it out alright though.

My best friend was coming back from a vacation on that flight!!
I live 5 minutes from that airport and could smell the smoke from my house.
My heart was racing trying to get a hold of her. I was pacing like crazy watching the news getting all sorts of conflicting reports about casualties. Must have called her a million times. I was sooooo relieved when she finally answered her phone. She was bawling her heart out, traumatized of course. THANK YOU GOD that she made it out okay. Like everyone else, she got the heck out of that plane and headed under the overpass.
They had put her and the others in some terminal and shortly thereafter took them all to the Sheraton.
